Afternoon Tea with Style
Lady Rose's Edwardian Tea Room is a delightfully quaint and comfortable old fashioned tea room with style. The staff dress according to the era as much as practically possible and are always delighted when customers choose to "dress up" too.
We don't have a dress code, although being dressed is essential, but one should bear in mind that afternoon tea is a semi formal affair and therefore requires a little more than "sports casual". It is, after all, a bit of a special occasion. Don't worry we won't make a fuss if you are sartorially relaxed but there are several items that we actively discourage: - t shirts with offensive logos or slogans, flip flops or bare feet, short shorts or mini skirts, vests on men and revealing tops on women. Best to avoid these really.
Our events, Titanic Afternoon Tea Party et al., are specifically themed to a particular period and 99% of our guests have a good go at dressing up to suit the theme that all adds to the colour.
